Ellie totally showing off! She was letting me know that she can now jump onto the sofa herself!
Life is settling down with Ellie in the house (probably best that I don't speak too soon!). We are, at least, in a routine. My ONE fault is that I am not using her crate properly. she gets far too much freedom. This has a lot to do with the fact that the weather has been SO good, so the back door has been open all day allowing her to roam in and out of the garden.....back in a min!
Ellie has just been put in a 'time out' for dragging the cushions off the sofa and chewing at them! My one rule when we first got Ellie was that I didn't want her on the furniture. Les was too soft. We WILL live to regret it when she is a 25kg!
Took her on one of my 'old walks' down the Ash Path last night. It was a favorite walk of Pepper's and my first time there since we lost her. I felt a little sad. It brought back a lot of happy memories.
Les has just put his holidays in for the year. We are not sure if we will be able to go away on holiday, but are looking forward to a lot of lovely days out with Ellie.
