What a glorious few days we have all had! We have made the most of the good weather and had Ellie out on a few walks (with lashings of water in my backpack!)
She has been a tad naughty on her walks. The first instance wasn't her fault! Me and a couple of the kids had her on the hill early in the day, halfway up Ellie found a discarded babies nappy, full to bursting with poop (disgraceful I know!). Ellie proceeded to grab it, run away, and consume all of it's contents <yuk>.
The second instance was on the same hill the next day. She was running round happily and then suddenly 'dropped n rolled'. Now, at this point I would have to say that most dogs (Pepper included) would do this in something like horse manure (disgusting I know, but natural). But no, Ellie had decided to take it one step further and roll in DOG poo! It was totally disgusting! It's a good job my oldest two were there to walk her home, as there was NO WAY she was getting back into my car that way.
Which has prompted me into thinking that it is time to get a guard for the boot of the car (Ellie travels on one of the seats at the present).
Still, it's been an enjoyable week in the sunshine, Ellie loves nothing better than chilling out in the back garden :
