Ellie was exceptionally good on her walk today. I didn't have as much time as I usually do so thought I would risk going down the railroad path. I needn't have worried as Ellie is totally distracted with the ball game to notice anything dead or rotting (which she would usually pick up an run with).
On the way home we met a man I usually chat with. Now, at times like this Ellie is usually doing all she can to get attention (jumping up, barking etc), today however she was fantastic! She just stood patiently while we chatted, she was so well behaved. She did the same when I met a man with a 17 week old terrier, she had a bit of a sniff (of it's nether regions naturally) then just stood and waited for me to finish chatting.
I won't say we have turned a corner, not on the basis of just one day, but, today's walk was a delight!
