Who's a good girl!

NOT ELLIE!
My word, puppy class tonight was a total nightmare!  She was the naughtiest I have ever known her. Choking on her harness, jumping up and spinning round to get it off. Barking and yelping at all the other dogs (who, for the most part, were sitting quietly at their owners feet!).
Outside whilst playing round on the agility equipment, she proceeded to do THE biggest
she as ever done
Both me and Les were extra tired tonight after another weekend tackling the new kitchen. Maybe she fed off that and figured that she cold do as she pleased (who knows lol).
I honestly thought about stopping attending the classes (which, I, realise, would be foolish as that's why we are taking her in the first place!).
We think the problem may be that she is getting to much time 'off lead' walking! I love to see her running wild, but, we need to be more disciplined and get her back on the lead every few minutes.
Oh well, will see what next weeks class brings.
All I need to do is look into those beautiful eyes and she's won me over again :

My friend has a small whistle that she uses to call back her dog. She also carries small amounts of cheese which she uses to get her back too. She took her dog to puppy classes just like you so no doubt they will suggest something similar. Poppy is almost 18 months now and is brilliant at coming back when whistled. Baby bel cheese is her favourite! X

That's a good idea Karis. I do have a whistle so will give it a try. We do take cheese/chicken to the class, but tended to 'overdo' it last night (she ate the lot as she was being so naughty LOL!
