We were thinking of taking Ellie away on holiday in August for a few days. Maybe to a cottage or holiday home.
I'm really not too sure if we should go for it or not. At nearly 7 months she is still in the mad teething stage, and attacks our sofa/cushions daily! She also has a habit of scratching at the sofa arm ^_^
I would be mortified if she did any damage to someone else's property.
Also, I am a bit weary of changing her routine so early. She as her crate setup in the kitchen (though we never actually lock her in it) so taking her to a different place would mean she would have to sleep in the same room as us (not ideal!).
Thing is, we always got someone to stay with Pepper (our dog who passed away in December) when we went away on holiday, so this would be the first time we actually had a 'doggy holiday'.
Oh the dilemma lol!
She is still enjoying her long walks, and loves nothing better than going off with my oldest son on a daily jaunt:
