Well, we managed to find 'the' perfect campsite for our needs (distance and facilities). Booked up on Thursday, feeling so happy to actually get something at such a late stage. Friday evening, holiday company phoned to say that the site had double booked, and our accommodation was no longer available. Was totally gutted.
SO, we have booked another site (vastly inferior to the original booking), it's more 'lively' than what we originally wanted. Anyway, I doubt Spotty will know the difference, and there are plenty walks, both seaside and the lakes, to take her on.
We are only going away for 4 nights, this is a 'test drive' for us taking the little madam away, and to get her used to it.
I know 'doggy folk' will think I am being totally daft, but, honestly, we have never taken a dog away with us before (it's hard enough with kids lol)
