Ellie's new favorite place.....the Beach!
We finally got round to taking her down to Tynemouth beach (one of the only beaches around here that has a 'dog friendly' section during the Summertime.
She just loves it so much, isn't afraid of the water, and made lots of new friends in the process.
We are finally getting organised for our short break next week. We have been trying out options for keeping Ellie safe in the car. We have bought 2 (yes 2) crates, but the first one (wire) was no good as it had sloping sides and she couldn't turn around properly. So we have bought a soft crate, which she seems more comfortable in (although she is still not too keen on traveling in the car).

Not looking forward to the long drive on Monday (only 2 hours, but it will be the longest Ellie has spent in the car). Hopefully things will run smoothly.
I will be taking plenty photos of her first holiday and will report back on how it all went.
