For the Love of Spots

People mentioned to me that when you get a 'Spotty' it can become and addiction, they were right. I find myself browsing Ebay and other sites for Spotty Collectables. I am also seriously regretting adding the
to my Facebook page. There are so many adorable Dals on there who are up for adoption! We do want a second dog in the future, Les favors the Italian Spinone, but me and the kids would love another Dalmatian. I think I would prefer to go the 'rescue' route rather than starting again with a puppy. Time will tell I suppose, we have to get the 'Spotty Diva' in line before we can even think about having 2 dogs. We have always been a one dog family, but, when I see Ellie with other dogs on her walks or on the beach, I know it would be of great benefit to her to have company.
My oldest son has just stared working full time this week, and I know he will miss taking Ellie out daily. Here's a great shot he got when he was playing ball with her:

"Throw the darn ball will you!"

Ellie continues to scavenge whenever there is food about (licking plates in the dishwasher seems to be her favorite pastime). She still has the predisposition for eating poop on her daily walks, I mentioned to my friend last night that if I got her poop flavored food she would probably turn her nose up at it as she seems to like it nice and fresh :(
Here's one of her from this morning trying to share breakfast with Les:
