Still alternating between on lead and off lead walks with Ellie.
Yesterday I thought I would take down to the farm at the very end of our village. At the end of the lane, just past the farm is this wonderful piece of history:
I do love architecture and old heritage sites. Just to think of the people and families that have lived here is the past is something special. As I said in a previous post, we are so fortunate to live in a place so steeped in history.
Anyway, back to Ellie! She is defiantly in the 'adolescent' phase. Her recall is virtually none existent, and I have to resort to 'catching' her unawares when it's time to come home on her off lead walks. I often read the Forum on the British Dalmatian Club website, and take solace in the fact that her antics are simply 'normal' Dally behavior.
She will be a year old next month, so we have a little time to go until she reaches maturity, but, even then, she will still be mischievous, it's in her nature ♥
