Well, we've had our first real snowfall today. It was Ellie's first time in the snow, she loved it (though I forgot to put her coat on and it was so cold). We went up to the top of Burradon Pit and around the pit pond. The top of the hill was quite eerie, as we were under just a little bit of blue sky, and we were surrounded by heavy, snow filled clouds! We made a quick retreat back down the hill, and got caught in the snow a little way from home.
Here are some pictures of the view we had:
Ellie really loved it, she was so excited! (I was much less ecstatic, I hate snow).
Ellie has become a lot more boisterous in the house over this last week. She is gaining in confidence and tries to push the limits at all times. It can be quite exhausting. We will get through it though, and she will realise who is boss (eventually). I can see why adolescence is the time when a lot of dogs are given away to shelters, although, I don't remember Pepper being as bolshy as Ellie is. It's just good for her that she is so adorable and pretty
