The Heatwave Continues

This heatwave shows no sign of abating. It has been in the top 20°C for weeks now (27°/28° on average). This might not seem high for those who live in warmer climes, but, believe me, it is so hot for us in the UK!  Ellie hates it, really! She gets frustrated on a daily basis, as, all she wants to do is play around and got for her usual runs, but it is just too hot during the day for her to do either.
The three photos below show her general stance during the day. She is either flaked out in a cool spot, or on the sofa vocalising her annoyance.
She is having to do with a short on lead walk during the day, and a late evening run at night. The bottom photo is her last night cooling down in a field.
We are talking her camping in mid August, hopefully it won't be as hot as it is at the moment.
We are thinking of going to either the Lake District with friends, or, if they can't make it, we may go to the West of Scotland, which has the most stunning scenery and walks. It will just be me, the hubby and our youngest going away, as our oldest 2 have to work. Looking forward to chilling out for a few days away from it all!

It is a lot cooler here in the North East today Fred22. Don't like it, but Ellie is happy :)
