Where are they?
I was really looking forward to the long summer days (and evenings) with Ellie. Like most of us, I have been sorely disappointed with this seasons offerings. Maybe we will have an 'India Summer' later in the year. The evenings especially seem to have drawn in very quickly this last week or so.
Ellie doesn't seem to mind at all though and is more than happy to go walkies come rain or shine!
She has been quite disobedient this last week, which is probably a mixture of having our undivided attention the week before when on holiday, plus her hitting the dreaded 'adolescent' stage.
I was looking after a couple of my friends (older) children yesterday, and she just jumped all over them on the sofa! She was just too excited so I had to lock her in the kitchen (What I SHOULD have done is asked one of my kids to put her on a lead before they came in).
We have got a few months ahead of us dealing with the 'teenage terror', but, it is also a time when she will draw even closer to us (as opposed to loving 'everyone' as puppies tend too).
We have upped he walks to three a day (shorter ones as opposed to two 'longer' ones), she seems more settled when she has the three a day. Here's is one of her the other day when out with my oldest
